WWE: Why Miz vs R-Truth Should Have Happened at Royal Rumble
Monday Night RAW is being broadcast as we speak, and already we have a six-pack challenge match featuring all the participants in this year's RAW Elimination Chamber match.
WWE Champion CM Punk will take on Chris Jericho, Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler, R-Truth and The Miz.
It should prove to be quite an exciting match. Hopefully the champion will remain and be challenged by Y2J at WrestleMania XXVIII.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Another pair of Superstars should unleash all their frustration towards one another in Satan's structure. I am referring to former Awesome Truth tag team partners, R-Truth and The Miz.
For months now, they have been taunting each other and been involved in this sort of going-nowhere feud. Truth beat Miz on RAW, and Miz threw Truth out of the Rumble. All right, now what? There has to be a match that decides where these two will end up as of April 1, and for the life of me I cannot imagine why WWE Creative didn't book them at the Royal Rumble.
I have been wondering if any other people feel as I feel—that this feud is a complete waste of time. If you believe in any of these two Superstars then it would be imperative to see them compete and give us a great wrestling moment, right?
It's unfortunate they are not given the chance to show us once more why they, on separate occasions, were placed in a main event match versus John Cena, while at the same time the WWE championship was included.
Do we even know who has the higher ground so far? Not really. The Royal Rumble was a mediocre show this year at best, and instead of watching the dinosaur Brodus Clay bury Drew McIntyre (sigh!), I would much rather have seen The Miz take on R-Truth in the battle royal.
There would have been a clear winner I think. The two men have a fanbase, and appealing to them wouldn't have been a bad thing.
It really looks like they have been put on the backburner for awhile now.
First, you had the failure that was their pairing. So much potential, yet no one ever believed they were a threat.
Then the Survivor Series pay-per-view main event against The Rock and John Cena happened. A complete disaster. R-Truth was suspended for 30 days after that, which allowed Miz to end up in the title match at TLC. Very nice, but last I heard he was being blamed for the low numbers of SS recently, so there goes his recent push.
The silver lining for fans of Miz and Truth is tonight they will fight each other, and they will fight on Feb. 19 as well. Afterward, I hope it's the end. Bigger and better things should come to the Awesome One come WrestleMania XXVIII.
For the little time they have left in the ring together, I hope it exceeds our expectations. We have great talent here, and it should not be wasted.
It may not have happened as we'd hoped during the Royal Rumble, but as of tonight, anything can happen.
That's the awesomeness of WWE, and it's the truth, the whole truth and nothing but...the truth.
