Super Bowl 2012: Who Will Be This Year's One-Hit Wonder?
David Tyree's catch in Super Bowl XLII will never be forgotten.
Not only did it help the Giants secure their first Super Bowl since 1991, but it was one of the most improbable plays in the history of sports.
The same two teams are back on the field battling for the Lombardi Trophy again, but David Tyree is no longer on the Giants. In fact, he wasn't retained by the Giants the following year and he retired after the 2009 season.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Essentially, Tyree is a one-hit wonder.
The Super Bowl is no stranger to players like Tyree. The grandest of stages almost always surprises.
Will we have a one-hit wonder this year?
Here are top candidates.
Tiquan Underwood or Matt Slater, WRs, Patriots
Big-play receivers with the potential to get behind the Giants' secondary are going to see at least one or two opportunities to make play.
If the Giants aren't getting pressure on Brady, these two will have even more opportunities.
Big Blue's secondary has been hidden by their elite pass rush down the stretch. One or two quick strikes can undo all of that.
Underwood and Slater could either ride that momentum or complete disappear.
Travis Beckum, TE, Giants
Big Blue has attempted to work him in a bit more and he's responded with a catch or two here and there.
If Bill Belichick allows himself to be shredded on the outside by Hakeem Nicks, Victor Cruz or Mario Manningham it would be a complete surprise. But Beckum could fly under the Patriots' radar.
Beckum has flashed before but has always been inconsistent.
It wouldn't be shocking to see him make a big play and possibly disappear in future seasons.
