WWE News: WWE Announces RAW Elimination Chamber Match

WWE has already announced its Raw Elimination Chamber match scheduled to take place next month at WWE Elimination Chamber on Feb. 19, 2012.

In breaking news, Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and Interim Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis revealed exclusively to WWE.com the Superstars who will compete for the WWE Title in the Raw Elimination Chamber Match: WWE Champion CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, Chris Jericho, R-Truth, The Miz and Kofi Kingston.

With all eyes on Punk’s title, the six competitors will brave the redoubtable dome live on pay-per-view Feb. 19, according to WWE.com's Staff.

This is phenomenal news for all wrestling fans, as this star-studded Main Event won't come close to disappointing the WWE Universe. At this point, we couldn't ask for a better Main Event heading into the pay-per-view on the Road to WrestleMania.

Even better, it means WWE is locked in to the awesome John Cena vs. Kane storyline. Instead of tossing both men in to the Chamber, we're certain to see a gimmick match of some sort at the February PPV extravaganza. 

As far as the Main Event, it's awesome that WWE is announcing RAW's Chamber already. This means we're guaranteed to see rivalries unfold over the next few weeks and keep existing ones going. I'm even impressed by WWE throwing Kofi Kingston into the match instead of letting him wallow in the mid-card now that he no longer has a tag team partner due to Evan Bourne's suspension. 

With these six men, we're guaranteed to see an epic Chamber match that could rival any in match history. All six men are excellent workers, and all have a knack for the big stage. One thing is for sure, we're going to be treated to a phenomenal match before WrestleMania hits. 

One could only hope the outcome of this match leads to a triple-threat match at WrestleMania between Y2J, Punk and Ziggler for the WWE Championship. This is the perfect time for WWE to push Ziggler to the moon considering they have Cena vs. The Rock to fall back on to sell 'Mania. Let's make this happen, folks!
