Royal Rumble 2012 Results: Breakdown and Rumble Review
WWE's 25th Royal Rumble is now in the books, but not without its fair share of surprises. This year, the unexpected entrants weren't the only surprises at the Royal Rumble, as Sheamus shocked the WWE Universe and won the Royal Rumble match.
In a field that was considered a two-horse race between Chris Jericho and Randy Orton, Sheamus stormed into the 2012 Royal Rumble and Brogue Kicked his ticket to WrestleMania.
The list of potential WrestleMania matchups for Sheamus won't exactly jump off of the page, but in the end, this will be the right move for the WWE to transition into new stars to be featured in WrestleMania world championship matches as they continue to make the tough transition into the next generation.

As it stands, Bryan and Sheamus are on pace to face off at WrestleMania in a rematch of a WrestleMania XXVII match that was cut from the card and then wasn't even considered good enough to be a dark match.
CM Punk continued his feud with John Laurinaitis as Dolph Ziggler did his best wallpaper impression in the WWE Championship match, and Brodus Clay made a very funky debut on pay-per-view.
