NBA: The 10 Best L.A. Clippers Lob City Highlights

When Chris Paul was traded to the Clipper nobody said it better than Blake Griffin, "Lob City."

And that's exactly what it has been.

We have only been through a little bit over a quarter of the season, yet the Clippers have been responsible for more than their fair share of remarkable plays this season.

Take a look, you will not be disappointed.

#10 Windmill Warmup

Not many people have seen play being that it took place during their preseason scrimmage warm-up at USC.

Nevertheless, the play is still impressive.

Before the game even began Griffin and Paul were putting on a show as Griffin easily completes the windmill after the bounce pass from CP3.

#9 Fancy Footwork, Fercious Finish

Quick little jab and Blake Griffin is on his way to the rim.

Just get out the way, you know what's coming next.

#8 Lob Cities

After LeBron James nearly completed a nasty put-back dunk on the other end, Chris Paul and Blake Griffin show him how it's done as he soars over Mario Chalmers for the dunk.

Rule No. 1 when you're playing the Clippers: If you sense Griffin running behind you, it's likely he's calling for the lob and it's in your best interest to get out the way.

#7 Cant Touch the Double Clutch

Blake Griffin came back this season with a polished offensive game. 

Combine his newfound footwork with his athleticism and this is what you get.

Once again we see that Griffin doesn't need a lob in order to give you a highlight.

#6 That's a Nice Poster

After a great save by Chauncey Billups, the fans began to stand on their feet as they Griffin break out and the ball in Paul's hands.

They were not disappointed.

Pause this video at about eight seconds and you will see just how impressive that freeze-frame is.

#5 High Five

This is not a dunk.

This is not even a lob. 

But, once again, Griffin demonstrates his ridiculous athleticism with a finish at the rim.

Watch Blake run the floor, fill the lane, slap the backboard and make the basket. 

All while keeping a straight face. Just another day at the office.

#4 Blake Takes off Like a Rocket

You could tell Blake was going to get this lob as soon as the Clippers got possession of the ball. 

He took off, out-running the whole Rocket team and soared through the air—barely grasping the ball by his finger tips—but still finishing with a thunderous dunk.

#3 Go Get It

DeAndre Jordan completes the big three when it comes to the Clipper's Lob City.

He does not disappoint when it comes to filling their quota.

Paul is a great point guard, don't get me wrong.

But sometimes it's as easy as throwing in towards the rim and letting one of his high-flyers go get it.

#2 Two Seven Footers? No Problem

DeAndre Jordan is not the tallest center in the league—but he is freaky athletic.

Even though he saw two seven-footers (Bynum and Pau) standing in his way, he proceeded to dunk on both of them and complete one of the plays in the year.

#1 I Believe He Can Fly

Chris Paul with the steal, the beautiful move and the perfect pass that sends Griffin flying through the air and finishing at the rim like not many can.

It's a bird? It's a plane? Nope.

It's just Blake Griffin.
