Denver Nuggets Behind-the-Scenes Documentary: The Association, Episode 1

If you aren't familiar with the NBA's The Association, it's kind of like what HBO does with Hard Knocks, but instead follows a team over the course of a season.

The Association is produced by the NBA and is a behind-the-scenes look at the trials and tribulations of a particular NBA team. This is the third season in which The Association has aired. Previous editions have covered the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers.

If you have never seen The Association, it is very freaking cool. Even if you're just a little bit of a basketball fan, this is for you. Production value is high, the back-door access is unparalleled and the insight into the inner workings of an NBA organization is fantastic.

This season, The Association is headed to Denver to detail the rise of a "team of no-names" in the wake of trading away its star player. This is a fun look into one of the most fun teams to watch in the league.

Episode 1 details a tumultuous offseason, comprised of free-agency questions, a shortened training camp and getting used to a very compressed schedule.

This series is entertaining for Nuggets fans and NBA fans alike, as it provides a never before seen look into the Denver Nuggets organization.
