Royal Rumble 2012 Predictions: Chris Jericho's Return Will Include Rumble Win

All of this Chris Jericho hype isn’t going to turn into some mediocre stay on the mid card. Y2J came back to win it all.

That starts with the 2012 Royal Rumble.

While I have been one of the biggest skeptics during the return of Jericho, that doesn’t stop the fact that I’m a huge Jericholic.

Ever since his days in ECW, Lionheart has been one of my favorite wrestlers to ever step foot in the business. I think my biggest problem with his return was the fact that the WWE, a company desperate for people with a voice, was allowing Jericho to play with a gimmick where his character doesn’t speak.

It’s cutting your nose off to spite your face. Not. Good.

The fans want Y2J to speak and be the heel that it’s become blatantly obvious that he is becoming. I don’t care how they get there, but they need to let this man talk and turn the crowd against him with his words.

With a lack of convincing heels, every minute that Jericho spends not talking is a minute wasted in the eyes of the fans on the fence about continuing to watch the WWE. Y2J needs to become a full-fledged heel and fast!

Jericho needs to show the people that don’t remember how great he can be. While the Rock got far more credit, Jericho was a genius on the mic, and he needs to bring that back so the fans want to see him.

At this point, not enough people care about his return. The momentum has stalled.

With a late entry into the Rumble and a huge victory, Jericho would catapult himself back to the top of the WWE and back into the hearts of the WWE Universe.
