Manchester City Transfer News: Why Tevez's Return Will Eclipse Any New Signing
The Carlos Tevez transfer circus looks to be coming to a close. With the Argentinean looking increasingly likely to return to Manchester, the striker could yet have a pivotal role to play in bringing a first Premier League title to the Eastlands.
It had almost become tiresome—going on strike in Argentina, the done deal with Paris St Germain, the collapse, Inter Milan talks, their collapse paving the way for AC Milan only to (you guessed it) collapse!
The result? Back to square one. It will take a lot of healing and some pride swallowing from both sides but there is a distinct possibility that Carlos Tevez could indeed be pulling on a sky blue shirt once again.

A month ago, this scenario had precisely zero chance of happening, but with City's faltering league form and recent exits from both the FA and Carling Cups, can you afford to completely overlook Tevez?
Aguero has quietened down after a stunning start to the season as has Edin Dzeko while the unpredictable Mario Balotelli is currently sitting out four matches after his second red card of the season.
The Citizens need some kind of shake up and a shock recall of Tevez, providing his willingness to train and get match fit, would certainly do that.
They are still paying the guy's wages, he is still a member of the squad and the 27-year-old's quality has never been doubted.
Tevez has 43 goals in 63 appearances—can you really afford to overlook that statistic when chasing your first ever Premier League title? Add to that the likelihood of your fierce derby rivals Manchester United finishing as runners-up.
There are of course a lot of obstacles to overcome for this to happen, the main one being the relationship breakdown between Roberto Manchini and team Tevez, but stranger things have definitely happened in football.
The fans may take sometime to accept the Argentinean back into the Mancunian family, but if you asked a supporter if they would be happy with the return of Tevez and a Premier League win, what would be the answer?
I have an idea. What do you think?
