Super Bowl 2012: NYC Pub Refuses to Sell Boston Brew on Feb. 5
Imagine you're a New England Patriots fan and you happen to be in New York during the Super Bowl.
You couldn't think of anything better than flaunting your colors in a New York City pub while having your favorite Boston brew.
Then you go into Foley's pub in NYC and discover it has banned Sam Adams for the day because it comes from Boston.

Yep, that's actually happening, folks.
Tweeted Darren Rovell of CNBC on Friday:
Because when the Giants are facing the rival Patriots in the Super Bowl, everything Boston must go.
Foley's in NYC, for example, would rather potentially lose money from Patriots fans than allow them to have their most favorite brew in the whole wide world on Feb. 5.
No, Bostonians, you must have a New York beer if you are going to disgrace this town. With enough New York hops, maybe you'll change your allegiances.
So if you Patriots fans find yourselves in NYC during Super Bowl weekend, remember Foley's—the place where you're not wanted.
And if you dare enter the dangerous lair of Giants fans, remember to get any beer you can before the end of the game. Because if the Patriots win, you won't be getting any beer at all from Foley's.
If the Giants win, however, you can have all the New York beer you want. With an added dash of insults from Giants fans, of course.
