Royal Rumble 2012: Even Better Predictions

Wrestling is a business that changes day to day. Making a prediction or imagining a scenario in a PPV changes nearly every day, with injuries, health issues and suspensions competing with factors such as talent falling in and out of favour, crowd reactions and ratings—not to mention WWE's somewhat erratic activity.

With that in mind, here are some more predictions of mine based on further analysis, examinations and outright fantasy.

The Great Khali Comes Back

This big fellow squashed quite a few in his run with WWE and is the type of wrestler that Vince McMahon loves. He left WWE in September, as his contract had expired. But, he is still on the roster, so it's possible he might make a special appearance at the Rumble.

Ricardo Rodriguez: ¿Ha Llegado Su Hora?

If Alberto Del Rio comes back at the Rumble (and I really hope he doesn't), then I can imagine him and Ricardo Rodriguez splitting very shortly. Maybe not at the Rumble itself, but very shortly after.

If Del Rio does turn on his manager, then Rodriguez could enjoy a great run as a face. As for Del Rio, when your manager is over shadowing you, it's probably not a good sign.

Kharma

Kharma announced she was pregnant in May of last year, but hadn't actually wrestled up until that point. If she has already had the child, she could make a surprise appearance at the Rumble—maybe as a warmup to getting back in the ring.

The Miz Will Last for a Long Time

The first entrant in the Rumble has been decided as the result of a match. I don't think this would have mattered unless it will be significant to the outcome. Whilst I doubt The Miz will win (although it would be cool if he did), we can be sure he will give a good account of himself.

The Undertaker Interferes with Cena vs. Kane

The Road to WrestleMania has begun, and that means one thing: The Undertaker. I can imagine them wanting to give him a great build-up, and the Kane-Cena storyline seems right for him. The fact that he could be against Kane or with him just adds to the excitement.
