The word "electrifying" can be defined as charging something with electricity. When talking about "electrifying" in regards to the WWE, it means to excite an audience.

The Rock brought this term to relevance when he proclaimed himself "The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment."

Here we will see if the Rock really is "The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment" in this ranking of the top 10 most electrifying WWE wrestlers of all time.

Rey Mysterio has electrified the crowd with his high-flying ability and energy.

Mysterio is one of the most popular superstars of all time, and the fact that he is seen as an ultimate underdog in every match makes the fans support him even more.

Honorable Mention: Jeff Hardy

A daredevil always excites WWE fans. Jeff Hardy was a daredevil his entire career. 

When he was teamed up with his brother Matt, and when he was rising to the top of the company as a singles competitor, Jeff Hardy was able to electrify fans with the risks he took.

Hardy was the "charismatic enigma" and his extreme moments got everyone on their feet in shock. He gained support and momentum because the WWE Universe appreciated his unbelievable stunts.

10. Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho is one of the best wrestlers of all time, and he would have made this list with three single moments alone.

When Jericho first made his debut in the WWE, he got one of the biggest pops from the fans ever. He then came back to the WWE in 2007. Recently, promos started that caused a huge buzz around the entire WWE Universe, and on January 2 it was revealed that Jericho would once again return to the company. These three moments all got huge reactions out of the crowd.

Jericho is one of the best wrestlers on the mic and in the ring. You can't say you're "The Best in the World at What I Do" unless you can electrify the WWE.

9. Rowdy Roddy Piper

Rowdy Roddy Piper excited fans with his energy and intensity. He is one of the most iconic wrestlers of all time and one of the greatest heels. Even as a heel, Piper was able to get support from the fans and he used that support to fuel his performance, which ultimately came back around and electrified fans even more.

Piper was as lethal on the mic as he was in the ring. When he locked in the sleeper-hold, fans got on their feet because they knew the end was near.  

8. The Undertaker

The Undertaker has become an icon. His intimidating presence and impressive in-ring ability for a man his size has kept him on top of the company for over 20 years.

It seems ironic to get excited for a man who is supposed to strike fear among the fans. It is not easy to excite people with the dark entrance music that the Undertaker comes out to, but the bell sound in the beginning electrifies the entire arena because they know the "Deadman" is coming out.

Ric Flair has had one of the most storied careers in professional wrestling history.

He has cut some of the best promos and put on some of the best matches ever. The 1992 Royal Rumble winner was a heel for most of his career. He has won a total of 16 World Championships.

"The Nature Boy" has been able to excite the crowd with his signature robes and his stylish strut. However, his legacy can be defined in one word: "WOOOOOO!"

Shawn Michaels was a balanced superstar as both a high-flying risk taker and a technician in the ring. He has excited fans from as early as his tag team days with Marty Jannetty to the day he retired.
