Super Bowl 2012 Date: Patriots and Giants Will Clash Again in Epic Game
The Giants and Patriots are set to give us a sequel to the most entertaining Super Bowl ever played. New York beat the Patriots in thrilling fashion, 17-14, in 2008, and now, these two will meet just four years later.
The similarities are striking. In both cases, the Patriots entered the playoffs as the AFC's No. 1 seed, while the Giants had to battle their way through the wild-card round as a lower seed.
Just like that season, the Giants have been bolstered by catching fire at the end of the season. Will this game have a similar outcome, or will the Patriots have their revenge? We will all find out shortly.

Of course, this game is too much awesomeness to just be contained to the game itself, or even the day it is played on. The pregame festivities for this game start now and won't stop until the game has reached its conclusion.
This epic game will be making its first trip to Lucas Oil Stadium. The home of the Colts opened for business at the start of the 2008 football season.
It is a beautiful stadium with a retractable roof and huge windows all across the building.
Ultimately, though, this stadium is little more than an afterthought for this huge event.
This is all about the spectacle of the game, and this certainly isn't limited to the teams involved. There will be numerous musical acts performing before and during the game. This included Kelly Clarkson singing the national anthem and Madonna performing at halftime.
The Super Bowl has almost become a national holiday, and it is almost here.
