Novak Djokovic Loses One Set to Nicolas Mahut

Novak Djokovic is the outright favorite in this matchup against Nicolas Mahut as well as the favorite to take home the Australian Open title in 2012.

Make no mistake about it.

Yet with a matchup against Nicolas Mahut, Djokovic is set to lose one set to the solid French talent.

Mahut has put together an impressive run in this 2012 tournament, beating No. 29-seeded Radek Stepanek in the first-round and Tatsuma Ito in the second round. Expect Mahut to bring his "A-game" against the world's best in this matchup.

Lleyton Hewitt Set to Defeat Milos Raonic

One of the more solid talents heating up in this tournament, Hewitt will take down Raonic in what is set to be a shocker at Melbourne.

Hewitt comes into this matchup fresh off of a win over No. 15-seed Andy Roddick in dominating fashion, despite the fact Roddick retired after the third set.

The hometown talent had an impressive 41 winners and just 27 unforced errors in the victory over Roddick. With 19 aces in two matches, Hewitt will look to take care of his service games and take Raonic down to the wire.

Juan Ignacio Chela and David Ferrer Go To 5 Sets

David Ferrer (No. 5) might be one of the favorites to win a Grand Slam at Melbourne, but in what will be a match based on past history, Chela will take Ferrer to five sets.

Chela comes in red hot, taking care of Spanish talent Pablo Andujar in straight sets: 6-4, 6-4, 6-3.

In three matches between the two, it has been Chela who has won two of the three matches.

Ferrer will look to take this match on his ability to force opponents into countless unforced errors with his ball placement and precise accuracy as of late. Chela will attempt to counter with his stellar net play that has given his 59 points in tournament play.

This is a matchup set to be one of the more exciting matches to watch in third-round play.
