AC Milan: Rossoneri Seal Mesbah Deal & Recall Strasser from Lecce
Milan has completed another piece of business in January. Shortly after resigning Alexander Merkel, they have struck a deal with Lecce with three players concerned.
As reported yesterday, Djamel Mesbah has been traded to the Rossoneri. He will be battling for the left back spot immediately due to Massimiliano Allegri's need to find a back who can accomplish what Ignazio Abate does on the right side of defence.
Incidentally, Abate struggled on Sunday in the Derby upon his rushed return from injury, but his play has been mostly excellent throughout the season.

As part of the deal for the Algerian, Milan will also take Sierra Leone midfielder Rodney Strasser, as reported by the BBC.
The 21-year-old has appeared six times for his country and is a terrific athlete who can add pace and power to the defensive midfield role that is currently occupied by Mark Van Bommel.
In and around the Champions League tie with Arsenal, I expect Allegri to rest the Dutchman and bring in Massimo Ambrosini or Strasser as cover.
The Sierra Leone international has played six times for the Salentini and scored one goal.
The last player as part of the deal is Milan starlet David Speziale, a 17-year-old Primavera striker who will look to progress in Puglia.
