Peyton Manning: Why No. 18 Must Debunk Rob Lowe's Retirement Ruse
Peyton Manning needs to end this retirement nonsense himself. He just needs to pick up the phone, call a sports reporter—ecstatic to see that Manning is calling—and say, "I'm not retiring, and Rob Lowe is adorable when he thinks he's relevant."
That's all he needs to do to end the insane speculation started by this tweet.
I don't want to attack Rob Lowe's intense credibility as a journalist, but it appears that this tweet may be a tad premature.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
If Lowe's tweet is true, it is news to Peyton's papa, Archie.
I don't know why Archie would expect to find out about this news before the great Rob Lowe, but the elder Manning could be onto something nonetheless.
Unless, of course, Lowe has out scooped Manning's agent.
In light of the response from this, it seems safe to say that Manning is not ready to retire, but we can't say that with certainty until we hear it from No. 18 himself.
So come on out, Peyton, and put this issue to bed.
This will not only be a great service to your legion of now slightly anxious fans, but to your career. Manning is staring at the very real possibility of being a free agent this offseason. He doesn't need to leave any room for teams to speculate that he even hinted at retirement.
He will get the best possible deal if people believe he is feeling good and anxious to resume playing.
