Tottenham Transfer Rumors: Spurs Need To Move on from Their Loïc Rémy Dream
Tottenham needs to forget about Loïc Rémy and begin looking in other directions as they prepare to make a run at the Premier League title.
Rémy would have been a nice fit in the Spurs attack with Emmanuel Adebayor and Jermain Defoe, but his rumored move to the Spurs is not going to become a reality.

Last week, Greg Stobar of Goal.com reported that Frederic Guerra, Rémy's agent, was aware of Tottenham's interest, but cautioned that it was not likely the Spurs would be able to land his star client. Guerra:
"Tottenham is a good club performing at a high level. It is natural to be interested, how do you say no? Spurs have a good eye but I think they will have only a small chance in January.
"
Loic is happy in Marseille and he is concentrating on this season. After Euro 2012 the whole of Europe will want to sign him.
This was not enough to keep Spurs manager Harry Redknapp from taking a trip to France on Sunday to watch Rémy. Redknapp undoubtedly liked what he saw. Rémy netted two goals in the match. However, he can't like what he has heard since.
Rémy was quoted by Canal+, and it comes to us via Mark Doyle of Goal.com, as saying he isn't going anywhere in the foreseeable future.
"I’m staying. I will 100 percent stay at Marseille until the end of the season and even the end of my contract.
"
I have spoken with the president and the staff. And it would not be right for me to leave this club.
We’ll see next summer but that’s not even in my head for now.
What's Next for the Spurs
With time quickly running down on the campaign, Tottenham is running out of options to improve their attack. They must put Rémy in their rear view mirror and move on.
The Spurs trail Manchester City by just five points, and they have a six-point lead on Chelsea for third place. Now is the time for them to be aggressive, but not aggressively foolish enough to believe they can still land Rémy.
