WWE Rumors: Evan Bourne Suspended for Violating Second Wellness Policy
The WWE is reporting that they have suspended superstar Evan Bourne (Matthew Korklan) for 60 days over a second failed wellness test.
Bourne was suspended over two months ago for 30 days on his first offense of the drug testing policy and was forced into the doghouse of the people that control the WWE. This second suspension will be his undoing in the company.
Bourne had been receiving a nice push with his tag team, Air Boom, but his relegation from television shows the company is done playing his games. The end is near.

What It Means
This explains the loss to Epic and Primo at the house show that cost Air Boom their tag-team titles. There is no way that the titles would have changed hands if it wasn’t for some huge issue behind the scenes. The failed drug test explains it all.
The biggest loser in all of this isn’t Evan Bourne; it's Kofi Kingston. The star finally found a great gimmick, and his partner smoked away his chance to be great. I honestly hope WWE doesn’t punish Kingston as well.
In all of this, the tag team of Epico and Primo get fast tracked to the top of the division, but now have no one to feud with. It’s time for WWE to reach in their bag of tricks and get another duo as charismatic as Kofi and Bourn. Not likely.
What Happens Next?
Evan Bourne’s future is as cloudy as it could possibly be right now. As we have seen in the past, bigger stars have failed the test and been relegated to the lowest of lows with the company.
Look at a guy like Chris Masters that faced the same issues. Bourne could be heading for the same fate if he doesn’t address the issues with the people backstage. While that’s all in good taste, the damage may be already done.
If WWE fires Bourne, he will end up in the X-Division of TNA within weeks. While the number of people that see him will go down, the matches will be amazing.
