Bolton Wanderers vs. Liverpool: Full Preview, Live Stream, Start Time and More
Liverpool is hoping a trip to Reebok Stadium to face off with the Bolton Wanderers, who have allowed the most goals in the Premier League this season, will help cure the Reds' goal-scoring woes. Liverpool won an earlier meeting between the two teams by a 3-1 score.
The Reds are still in the hunt for a European spot despite their recent struggles in front of goal. They are just one point behind fifth-place Arsenal and a handful of points behind Chelsea for fourth. All it will take is a little more punch up front to get them back in the thick of things.

It's been a season most Bolton fans would rather forget. The Trotters are allowing nearly a goal per game more than they did last season, which is the main reason they have plummeted in the table. Now they must fight to avoid relegation in the season's second half.

Betting Odds: Liverpool -159, Bolton Wanderers +447, Draw +256
Player to Watch for Bolton Wanderers: David N'Gog
After spending the past three seasons with Liverpool, N'Gog moved to Bolton during the offseason. He's still just 22 years old, which is surprising because it seems like he's been around the football world for a long time, but he has yet to live up to his potential.
The striker has scored just two goals in 16 league games during the current campaign. If Bolton has any hope of digging themselves out of the current hole, the Trotters will need a secondary threat to emerge alongside Ivan Klasnic. N'Gog has the talent to be that guy, but he needs to show it more often.
Player to Watch for Liverpool: Pepe Reina
There isn't a player in the Premiership under more pressure on a weekly basis than Reina. When a team is struggling to score like Liverpool, the goalkeeper takes on the burden of keeping the opponent off the score sheet as well, and that's no simple task.
Reina has done a tremendous job under the circumstances, though. The 29-year-old Spaniard is giving up less than one goal per contest and has recorded eight clean sheets in EPL play. Unless the Reds find some reinforcements up front, he'll need to remain in top form to keep them afloat.
Key Matchup: Bolton back line vs. Dirk Kuyt and Andy Carroll
This would be considered a matchup of mediocrity, and even that might be putting it lightly. The Trotters have struggled to maintain any semblance of a reliable defense throughout the season. While injuries have played a role, it comes down to a lack of talent at the back.
Luckily for Bolton, the Liverpool attack doesn't exactly strike fear into opponents. Kuyt struggled mightily when asked to serve as the lone striker against Stoke City. Carroll hasn't provided a spark, either, with just two goals.
What They're Saying
Bolton's defensive corps took another hit with the transfer of Gary Cahill to Chelsea, as reported by The Telegraph. The fee was a reported £7 million, with wages checking in around £80,000 per week.
""Chelsea is a massive club, it is a club that looks to win trophies season in, season out and it is a big opportunity for me to be a part of that. Opportunities like this, you can't turn down."
Despite being part of a Bolton defence among the worst in the Premier League this season, Cahill has performed well alongside Chelsea captain John Terry at international level.

Lille forward Moussa Sow has expressed his desire to one day play at Liverpool, according to Mirror Football. It appears his current club is looking to hold onto him for now, however, which won't help solve the Reds' current scoring problems.
"The 25-year-old striker, who has also been attracting interest from Tottenham, was top scorer in France's Ligue 1 last season.
"I am at Lille now but as we all know I want to play in England one day," he told Sky Sports.
"Liverpool, well, that is a dream club. Anyone would be happy, scoring goals in front of the Kop can be the highlight of a career."
