9 NFL Players on Everyone's Super Bowl Party Guest List

Matt SteinJan 18, 2012

With Super Bowl XLVI less than three weeks away, it's time for guest lists for the big game to be formulated.

As important as Pizza Rolls, beer and a 96-inch TV are for the Super Bowl, having the proper guest list is even more important.

Here are nine NFL players on everyone's Super Bowl party guest list.

P.S. If any of the following NFL players happen to read this and would like the opportunity to watch the Super Bowl at the Chateau d'Stein, please let me know. I'll see if I can get you on the list.

Pacman Jones

1 of 9

If you want a good time at any party, especially a Super Bowl party, Adam "Pacman" Jones needs to be invited.

Of course, there is a rather high probability that you will end up in jail, but there is no doubt that the party would be legendary.

Bryant McKinnie

2 of 9

Bryant McKinnie would be invited to the party of those that like to get a little crazy. Remember this incident with Fred Smoot?

I won't be inviting McKinnie to my party, and of course, we don't even know if he is available yet, but I'm sure there are plenty of 20-something, single males out there who wouldn't mind having McKinnie's presence at their party.

Aaron Rodgers

3 of 9

There are three things I'm looking for in a good Super Bowl party guest.

1. Do female ESPN anchors tell them outrageous things? Check.

2. Do Miss America winners ask them out? Check.

3. Are you in a commercial every 45 seconds? Check.

Rodgers is definitely on the list.

Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens

4 of 9

Yes, I know Terrell Owens is not currently an NFL player, which is why he would have to come with Chad Ochocinco, if Ochocinco is available.

It's possible there would be some fighting between these former teammates as their reality TV cameras would possibly run into each other and ruin shots.

However, I'm quite positive both Owens and Ochocinco would be all smiles and hugs while in attendance. Then they'd go back to their fighting ways after the party.

Cam Newton

5 of 9

The reason Cam Newton will be getting plenty of invites this year is because the kid is an absolute star.

He's got that "it" factor and "it" is all you need to get invited to loads of Super Bowl parties.

I lost my "it" when I turned five.

Peyton Manning

6 of 9

When you're at a Super Bowl party, you want a guy there that can explain all the intricacies of the game. Not a "Mr. Know-it-all," but someone who can add something to your viewing experience.

There simply isn't a football player out there who knows more about the Xs and Os than Peyton Manning. Not only would he be able to add great insight into what is going on in the game, but he'd also be able to explain everything about neck surgeries.

Too soon?

Jared Allen

7 of 9

Even though Jared Allen has gotten rid of the mullet, he still definitely looks like a guy who knows how to have a good time.

He'd likely be the most entertaining NFL player at the party and he would dazzle your guests with stories of hunting with spears and killing quarterbacks.

Rex Ryan

8 of 9

I know that Rex Ryan isn't technically an NFL player, but he's close enough and I'm quite positive that he would be a stellar Super Bowl party participant.

Why you ask? Well, he says the craziest things, has a great sense of humor and can talk trash like nobody's business.

I'll go out on a limb and say that Ryan is probably a great drinking partner, so if you plan on having plenty of booze at your party (which you should), he would be the man to invite.

Tim Tebow

9 of 9

Was there really any doubt Tim Tebow wouldn't be on every Super Bowl party guest list?

It's impossible to go 20 minutes without seeing Tebow, so of course he will be at your Super Bowl party. The man is literally everywhere.

The crazy ting is that you won't even have to invite him to your party. He'll just miraculously show up unannounced with little time remaining at the party and win over all of your guests.

He'll even send you a Thank You card after the party.
