Atlanta Braves: New Cream Colored Alternative Uniforms are Simple and Sleek
The Atlanta Braves' new alternative uniforms were accidentally leaked, according to Yahoo, and the early feedback is all positive.
The new cream colored tops look like something straight out of the 1970s when Hank Aaron was still around.
It features "Braves" spelled out in the traditional red cursive with the blue stripe down the middle of the chest, and also has a patch with the infamous tomahawk chop on the side of the sleeve.

But don’t mistake these for a true throwback. This style has never been seen before, but it’s not far off from the traditional home uniform they wear now.
The biggest difference is the cream color instead of white, and the lack of a tomahawk underneath the team name on the front of the jersey.
I think it’s a subtle yet different look that brings a unique look to an otherwise traditional look.
While you can’t give this jersey a perfect score, considering there isn’t a ton of new stuff to evaluate here, give them props for keeping it simple.
If we learned anything from the new look for the Miami Marlins, it’s that putting too much on the front of a jersey can be disastrous. The Braves' uniforms look 100 times better by comparison.
Overall, I think fans will be pleased with the alternative look. It’s definitely better than the red alternatives they sported on Sundays last year, but I do wish they had the red piping around the buttons or sleeves.
So, overall, I’ll give them eight baseballs out of 10. Nothing groundbreaking, but if I was a Braves fan I sure wouldn’t mind rocking a Jason Heyward alternative cream look.
