Giants vs. Packers: B.J. Raji Should Have Kept Quiet About Giants' O-Line
Green Bay Packers nose tackle B.J. Raji is not going to be scared when he lines up against the New York Giants on Sunday. Sure, there will be a collection of large men in front of him, but they're not so tough.
Hey, don't look at me. He's the one who said it.
Here's what Raji had to say about New York's offensive line to The Star-Ledger on Thursday:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
"I mean, I played them once this year and once last year. I can only judge by my vantage point up front, not necessarily the most physical—their backs are pretty physical, but not the toughest O-line. Not saying they're soft, but not the toughest group I've been against.
"
So last week we had a defensive lineman call an opposing offensive line a group of dirtbags and this week we have a defensive lineman saying an opposing offensive line isn't tough enough.
Gotta love the NFL.
For good measure, Raji called out the Giants' tight ends, saying they "aren't in any position to say too much. They're not the best players at their position that we've seen."
The funny part is that Raji is right. The Giants' offensive line is not one of the stronger units in the league, and they're basically working with spare parts at the tight end position this year.
But that doesn't mean Raji should have said anything. On the contrary: He should have kept his mouth shut.
He shouldn't have kept his mouth shut because it was the good sportsmanlike thing to do. He should have kept his mouth shut because of what he did by opening it, and that's give the Giants incentive to prove him wrong.
To boot, you can rest assured that Raji's Sunday afternoon just got a whole lot tougher than it otherwise would have been.
Well, it's too late. Now that he's said these things, Raji has to go out there and back them up. The Giants' offensive line is not going to oblige him by being soft, so he has to make them look soft.
Maybe he can soften 'em up by hitting them with the "discount double-check" move. Can't hurt.
