Liverpool Transfer Rumors: Youngster Wilfried Zaha Cautioned About Move

Liverpool may have run into quite a snag in their courtship of young Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha.

The Reds have apparently shown quite an interest in acquiring Zaha before the transfer window closes, but the latest rumor is that the young player is being cautioned against making a move up to the Premier league too early.

While this may seem like a team trying to hold on to a star player, it’s worth noting that Zaha has been given some cautionary advice, according to ESPNSoccernet:

To be frank, if I were Zaha I’d be more worried about stinting my career by hanging around at Palace for too long, rather than making a jump to the Premier League.

Sure, you have to wonder if you are ready or not, but in the end you’ll never know unless you try.

If Zaha is good enough to be getting looks from Liverpool then he must be worth the risk they would be taking on him.

It’s a risk that he must take himself.

There is always a possibility that a player moves up too fast and isn’t ready for the next level. Everything is quicker and everybody is more experienced, and sometimes that can be too much for young players to handle.

You can’t succeed if you don’t try though, and the chance to play for Liverpool doesn't come around every day.

While his teammates understandably want him around, this is an opportunity they shouldn't let him pass up.
