Tim Tebow: College Prospects Who Stand to Benefit from His Success
The longer Tim Tebow is successful, the further his influence will reach. I'm not talking about Tebowing and all of the pop culture phenomena he has caused. I'm referring to other athletes with similar mental and physical makeups receiving an opportunity in the NFL because of Tebow's success.
Quarterbacks with less than ideal measurables and conventional abilities, who are heavy in effort and other intangibles, may get a second and third look because of Tebow.
Of course, no two players are exactly the same, but here are a few collegiate players who have some of the same qualities as the Broncos star, along with their Tebow-like rating:

Collin Klein - Kansas State
This kid is tough as nails. He isn't the most classic thrower and he has questionable arm strength, but his running and leadership abilities are topnotch.
He'll likely return for his senior year in Manhattan. The Wildcats should get some preseason love because of the 2011 campaign and that will heighten the exposure for him.
He could also be a dark horse for the Heisman, especially if the Wildcats start fast.
Tebow-like Rating: 7.5 out of 10
Ryan Tannehill - Texas A&M, eligible for the 2012 Draft
Tannehill is a converted wide receiver and an overall exceptional athlete. He was recently dealt a tough setback when he suffered a broken foot, that will almost certainly affect his draft status.
When healthy, he is one of the top five or seven athletes at the position. There are some questions about accuracy on deep passes, and his footwork in the pocket, but Tannehill is determined to play QB.
He will likely drop due to his injury and the fact that he is viewed as a project, but he has good potential.
Tebow-like Rating: 6 out of 10
Logan Thomas - Virginia Tech
Thomas is a 6'6" sophomore who weighs 254 pounds, who was converted from tight end to play the QB position. The size makes him a load to bring down when he scrambles.
He is an outstanding leader with a good arm, but he is still learning the position. He still has two years of eligibility to develop his skill set.
Thomas rushed for 470 yards and threw for 3,013 in his first full year as a starter. His intangibles, size and increased experience have the Hokies excited about 2012. With the exit of running back David Wilson, Thomas will be the man for the Hokies offense.
