Arsenal Transfer Rumours: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's Loyalty Should Be Celebrated

Arsene Wenger's Gunners are experiencing a feel-good couple of weeks, and the fact that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has dismissed rumours of a loan demand only means the exuberance continues. 

The Independent has a piece of good news to Arsenal supporters who would like to see Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain mature at the Emirates rather than another side. 

The reports confirms the tweet of the 18-year-old budding star in which he recently confirmed his commitment to Arsenal. 

This comes on the heels of rampant rumors that the former Southampton star wanted out in order to get some first-team experience with another club. It seemed that ego was beginning to overshadow patience. 

This should come as amazing news as there are not many footballers with so much promise as the young winger.  

You do, however, want star players to want to feature on the pitch. It is that hunger that make the great better than the rest. So there is a hope that AOC is indeed gunning for first-team action, but it is no doubt nice to see an assured loyalty. 

Wenger may in fact flirt with a loan deal as Arsenal may want to see what Chamberlain can do with more responsibility on the pitch. But that is something for the boss to decide, and not a still growing talent. 

The show of loyalty comes after Arsenal saw one of the greatest players to wear a Gunners kit come back to deliver a goal against Leeds in FA Cup action. 

Thierry Henry has meant so much to Arsenal and provided an amazing moment that will live on in Gunners' history. It is far too early to know if Oxlade-Chamberlain will make good on the tremendous promise he has, but he is doing the right thing by pledging allegiance when it is needed. 

The cohesion and fraternity continues at just the right time for Arsenal.
