Roger Mayweather Makes Another Steroid Accusation Again Manny Pacquiao
Roger Mayweather, Floyd's uncle and trainer, is getting vulgar in describing why Manny Pacquiao doesn't want to fight his nephew, and levied more steroid accusations against the boxing champion.
In a report from Boxing Scene, Mayweather said that Pacquiao doesn't want to fight Mayweather because the "fight's a mismatch" and that everyone knows "what Pacquiao got in his ass."
What Does It Mean?
Anytime the Mayweather camp throws accusations out about Pacquiao, it is with the sole intent of trying to get into his head.
It could be they are trying to bait him into a fight. Mayweather tweeted that he wants Pacquiao to accept the May 5 date that he has set for his next match.
We have seen them use this strategy in the past, but to no avail, so I don't know why Roger and Floyd Mayweather would expect this time to be any different.
What Happens Next?
Pacquiao is going to be hounded with questions about these accusations and whether or not this will affect his decision to fight Mayweather.
I don't believe that it's going to change the way he approaches any potential fight, so all of this talk by Mayweather will be a lot of white noise that falls on deaf ears. It makes for a nice headline, but it does not do anything to make Pacquiao want to sign on the dotted line.
Boxing needs this fight to happen, but the way that the Mayweather clan attack Pacquiao personally does not make it any easier for the two sides to come together to negotiate.
