Thierry Henry Arsenal Video: Watch Striker's Goal in Triumphant Gunners' Return

Thierry Henry finally returned to Arsenal in FA Cup action at Emirates Stadium. The emotions ran high when the legendary Gunners' striker hit home a goal in his very first touch. 

It was vintage Henry as he corralled a pass and stuck the ball in the back of the net to have Arsenal take a 1-0 that ended up as the final score in a crucial FA Cup match on Monday. 

Arsenal supporters were growing anxious in two manners on match day. The Gunners were being held off by a stingy Leeds side and one legendary player remained on the bench. 

This match was destined for a memorable ending as Henry finally got up to stretch and prepare to get into the game. That is when things became all the more special. Henry got in only to play a crucial part moments later. 

Henry had 226 previous goals and it seemed greedy to hope for 227 on this day. But that is exactly what was in store for the thousands of supporters in attendance.

Arsenal escaped what would have been a humbling draw by a score of 1-0. That one goal came from a very familiar foot in Henry.

The star striker has come on loan from MLS side the New York Red Bulls. The hope was to see Henry feature in some form on Monday. We all received an extra treat in the 73rd minute. 

The goal should mean that Arsenal has received all of Thierry Henry back to their grounds. This is not just an older shell of a legend. The striker just proved he can still score. 

Arsenal may have lead with nine shots on goal to Leeds' four, but the only number that mattered is the one that came flying with perfect precision from the man of the hour.  

This is just another spike in a season that has been a roller coaster for Arsene Wenger. A humble start to the season has just hit a fever pitch of emotions. It is very good to be a Gunners supporter right now.
