UFC 143: Nick Diaz's No-Show on 'UFC Countdown'
Uh-oh! Looks like Nick Diaz is at it again!
According to the Twitter of Jonathan Snowden, the author of the MMA Encyclopedia, Nick Diaz no-showed his appearance on UFC Countdown.
UFC Countdown follows fighters in their final preparations for upcoming fights. It has featured such fighters as Jon Jones, Lyoto Machida, Brock Lesnar and many more.
Prior to UFC 137, when Nick Diaz was going to fight Georges St-Pierre for the welterweight title, he no-showed a pair of press conferences, which caused Dana White to pull him from the fight altogether.
Not only did Diaz no-show the press conferences, but he missed several flights and even snuck out of Cesar Gracie's house so he wouldn't have to make one of those flights.
After being put back onto the card against BJ Penn, White said that he understood how to deal with Diaz now and that things would be better.
Perhaps he spoke too soon.
Nick Diaz will face off against Carlos Condit in the main event of UFC 143 on Feb. 4 for the interim welterweight title.
