Alabama vs. LSU Rematch: Breaking Down the Honey Badger Narrator's Prediction

Randall—the hilarious narrator of one of YouTube's finest viral videos of all time, "The Crazy Nastya** Honey Badger"—has predicted that LSU will defeat Alabama in tonight's BCS National Championship Game.

Though, he didn't exactly come to that conclusion after hours of tape study. From the Associated Press:

While Randall concedes that he’s not much of a football fan, he has come to like the Tigers this season and even had a vision about who’s going to win the championship game.

“It came to me in a dream,” he said. “I don’t know what’s going on, but I swear in this dream I’m watching the game and I saw the final score after the fourth quarter of the game was done. LSU was on top, 35-10.”

LSU's Heisman candidate and stud cornerback Tyrann Mathieu has been famously nicknamed "Honey Badger," a befitting nickname for the player, at least according to Randall.

“Jumping and leaping and doing the things he does, it’s crazeee!” Randall said in a telephone interview from his Southern California home, sounding just as excited and awestruck as he does in his famous video. “He just plays with such heart and such vigor. It’s just very exciting. To me, that embodies the honey badger. He just takes whatever he wants and nothing is going to stop him.”

But what of that 35-10 prediction? Surely, the game will be closer than that given the strength of each team's defense and the tendency of each squad to be run-first offenses.

So no, I'm not sure I'm going to put much stock in Randall's prediction. But wouldn't it be fun if Randall could serve as a narrator for the game? He could be the color commentator and they could bring in Gus Johnson for the play-by-play!

Holy snikes, that would be awesome!

Gus Johnson: And Alabama is set to punt. Back waiting is the Honey Badger. Here's the kick, and it is a high, booming shot down the field—Mathieu would be wise to call for the fair catch here.

Randall: I don't know, Gus—the Honey Badger is cray-zeeee!

Randall: The Honey Badger don't care, Gus, I tried to tell you. He is the most fearless player in all of college football. If he wants to take it to the house, he'll take it to the house.

Randall: Oh, he's surrounded. Oh wait, now he's not. The Honey Badger doesn't give a damn about Alabama. He cuts right, he cuts left, no big deal. Look at that cut, that was nasty, he's so nasty.
