WWE News: John Morrison Comments on What He Needs to Work on to Get Back to WWE
John Morrison parted ways with the WWE late last year after his contract expired and he decided not to sign a new one.
When Morrison left the company, there was the normal mixed reaction. Some fans were glad to see him go, others were disappointed that he left and there were those who were completely indifferent about his departure.
Those who aren’t Morrison fans typically point to one aspect of pro wrestling that he struggles in as the reason why he won’t be missed by the WWE. As it turns out, Morrison knows what he needs to improve on to succeed in the company, should he return.

From SEScoops.com:
"John Morrison answered numerous fan questions for the fansite Starship-Pained.com including a query regarding life after WWE.
“I feel like I got off an express train walked to my car, and sped away. I’m still busy as all hell, but now, I’m the one driving,” he said.
He was also asked, “What do you think will help you get to the next level when you return to WWE?”
Morrison said, “JoMo needs to cut promos.”

First of all, the phrasing of that question (and Morrison ignoring it) seems pretty interesting to me. Notice that it says when Morrison returns to the WWE, not if.
Perhaps that is a sign that Morrison indeed isn’t done with the WWE for good, which, as a Morrison fan, would be great news for me. He may not be the biggest star out there, but he could definitely contribute to the WWE in a number of ways and is a much better wrestler than the majority of the guys currently on the roster.
Plus, unlike a lot of wrestlers, Morrison is actually willing to admit what he needs to work on. That is, his promos.
Of course, it’s no secret that Morrison struggled mightily in the promo department, particularly when he was a baby face. However, admitting that this is the case and then committing to improving his promos is a great sign that Morrison is willing to work hard to get back to the WWE.
I have no doubt that if Morrison was a better mic worker, he would have a much better shot at being a main eventer should he return to the WWE. Not to mention, it’s much likelier that he returns to the company to begin with.
Morrison has the look, the natural likeability and the in-ring skills to succeed in the WWE.
If he finds a way to balance all that with better promos, we could see him return to the WWE in the near future and become a big part of the company moving forward.
