Video: WWE Recreates Iconic Raw Intro with Current Stars Ahead of Netflix Debut

Prior to Raw's Netflix debut on Monday, WWE released a new spin on the classic Thorn In Your Eye intro for the company's flagship show.

WWE posted the video featuring many of the current stars of the promotion on its X account on Saturday:

The highlight video is accompanied by the song Thorn In Your Eye, which was the Monday Night Raw theme song from 1997 to 2002.

Performed by Scott Ian of Anthrax, Thorn In Your Eye was the soundtrack associated with many of the most legendary moments in WWE history during the Attitude Era.

Back in January 2024, WWE and Netflix stuck a groundbreaking deal, bringing Raw to the streaming platform by virtue of a 10-year, $5 billion agreement.

This past Monday was the final episode of Raw on USA Network, paving the way for the Raw on Netflix era beginning on Jan. 6.

WWE is advertising a stacked debut episode with Liv Morgan putting the Women's World Championship on the line against Rhea Ripley, Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa battling for the Ula Fala in Tribal Combat, CM Punk and Seth Rollins clashing in a grudge match and John Cena making an appearance.

When adding in the fact that the build toward Royal Rumble on Feb. 1 figures to begin in earnest, Monday's Raw could be the biggest in the show's 32-year history.
