Jets HC: Aaron Rodgers Will Play vs. Seahawks, Healthiest He's Been in 5-6 Weeks
New York Jets interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich believes that quarterback Aaron Rodgers is the healthiest he has been in "five or six weeks."
"He's doing better today than he has for quite a while now. I would say for the last, after my conversation with him, the last five or six weeks, he's felt healthier today than he's felt in that time span... Excited to see a healthier version of Aaron out there," Ulbrich told reporters on Wednesday.
When asked if he would consider sitting Rodgers, Ulbrich answered, "If he's healthy, my plan is to play him."

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
The Jets are preparing for a Sunday home game against the Seattle Seahawks.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport recently reported that Rodgers has "resisted getting scans done" amid hamstring, knee and ankle injuries this season.
According to Rapoport, Rodgers did not want to undergo scans because he did not want "to reveal the severity of his injuries out of fear of having to come off the field."
Rapoport described one of these issues as a "particularly significant" hamstring injury suffered during the Jets' Week 4 loss to the Denver Broncos. Rodgers also suffered a low ankle sprain during a Week 5 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
Rodgers challenged the report in an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, during which he said he "felt really good" during the Jets' Sunday loss to the visiting Indianapolis Colts.
The quarterback said he had not had scans done, but that he there was no "mandate" to do so and that he had "great communication" with the Jets medical staff.
Rodgers, who turns 41 in December, has been listed on the Jets injury reports every week since Week 5 (knee.) He appeared on the list again with a knee injury in Weeks 6 and 7, and was listed as "knee/hamstring" in Weeks 8 through 11.
Ulbrich told reporters on Monday that the team did not currently have plans to shut down Rodgers this season.
"All I can say— and you'd have to ask Aaron if he's fully healthy— but he's better off today than he's been as of late," Ulbrich said on Monday. "So he's definitely feeling healthier than he has for probably the last month."
Rodgers has led the Jets to a 3-8 record while passing for 2,442 yards with 17 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Should he miss any time, Tyrod Taylor would step up in his place, but it sounds like Ulbrich is hoping the team's Week 12 bye gave Rodgers enough time to recover from his injuries ahead of the clash with the Seahawks.
