Kevin Nash vs. Ultimate Warrior: WWE Legends Feud Over Shoot Challenge

Donald WoodJan 7, 2012

Travel back to a time of flannel and Nirvana to remember when both Kevin Nash and the Ultimate Warrior were relevant in the wrestling world.

The duo is getting a second chance at fading glory.

For those who don’t already know, Kevin Nash has been sucking up the WWE over the last few months, stealing spotlight form the more-talented youth underneath him. That’s in part thanks to this friendship with Triple H, but it’s also because of his sheer arrogance and inability to walk away from the business.

Most fans know the truth behind Nash’s return, but Ultimate Warrior used his own Internet video blog to call out Kevin Nash and the older stars in the WWE for not letting the younger guys get over.

As crazy as the Ultimate Warrior is, he is 100 percent right on this topic.

With Nash suffering from what I call Hulk Hogan Disorder (HHD), a serious medical issue that doesn’t allow older wrestlers to be able to differentiate between real life and shoot promos, I knew immediately that this was going to be an online war.

Boy was I right.

Kevin Nash took to Twitter to absolutely lose his cool. WARNING! Tweets below contain offensive material.

After all of the bashing that was coming from the Nash camp, there was no way that the warrior would allow that to happen. He is too headstrong.

While I expected face paint and an insane promo style response, the calm Jim Hellwig (the man beneath the makeup) called Nash out for exactly what he is and I loved every second of it. The truth does hurt and as much as Nash doesn’t want to face the truth, he is done in the wrestling business.

With nothing better to do, Nash responded to Warrior’s response via Twitter like an adult:

This feels like the end of the battle, but one wrong comment from either man will have this back on the forefront of the Internet. I think we can all agree that it would be better for everyone if both men were to drift back into obscurity.

Two of the sport’s greatest resorting to Twitter wars. Sad.
