Jets' Davante Adams Jokes Garrett Wilson Should Join Jordan Brand After 'Jumpman' TD
New York Jets wide receiver Davante Adams saw a branding opportunity for Garrett Wilson after the 24-year-old's one-handed touchdown catch on Thursday.
Wilson's sensational grab helped the Jets earn a 21-13 victory over the Houston Texans. Following the game, Adams referenced the catch's similarity to the Jordan brand logo and jokingly suggested that Wilson could catch some heat from his current sponsor, Adidas.

"I told him he might get kicked from Adidas after that one," Adams said. "That one looked like he headed over to Jumpman with me. I'm gonna talk to some people."
Adidas later joking issued a statement about Wilson's catch, nothing the star receiver wasn't "going anywhere."
Adams is currently sponsored by the Jordan brand, which is made by Nike. He signed that deal back in 2020. Wilson signed his deal with Adidas in 2022, prior to that year's Draft.
Wilson finished the game with nine catches for 90 yards and two touchdowns. Adams had seven catches for 91 yards and a touchdown, so the duo proved to be a lot to deal with for the Texans secondary.
New York improved to 3-6 with the win and it was the first victory the team has claimed since dealing for Adams.
As the Jets look to turn their season around, Adams and Wilson will look to find even more success and build on last night's victory.
