This is one of the few times that Angelenos won't be caught complaining about the horrendous traffic.
The last time the Dodgers won the World Series, in 2020, the city was unable to hold a parade due to the COVID-19 pandemic. You better believe Los Angeles is ready to make up for that missed opportunity.
"I think for some of the guys that were here—Kiké [Hernández], Clayton [Kershaw], the coaches, Austin Barnes, I think Blake Treinen, just some guys that were here with us—we want that parade," manager Dave Roberts told reporters on Monday. "We never got a chance to celebrate with the city of Los Angeles. That's something of an incentive."
