Tim Tebow: Brady Quinn's Snaps Prove Broncos Have No Faith in Tebow
There is trouble in paradise.
It seems that the Denver Broncos do not have the never-ending faith in Tim Tebow that his fans do. NBC Sports cites sources that claim Brady Quinn is getting roughly half the snaps with the first team this week.
The report makes good to offer up what this could mean, as the Broncos may be preparing to replace Tebow the second he falters. It could also be a simple change of pace, as Quinn could step in just to keep the Steelers on their toes.

More likely, this is a sign that the Broncos staff does not subscribe to the sentiment that Tebow is a "winner" and will pull a victory out of his preordained tushy this weekend.
It's nice to have faith in some things, but this is football. And it's clear that Tebow has been less of a mystery to defenses in the past three games. Teams are pushing him to the middle and forcing him to beat them in the pocket.
Tebow has failed to do that on a consistent basis and the Broncos are wise to go into Sunday's wild card matchup with a Plan B.
With that being said, there is an interesting argument posed by Robert Littal of Black Sports Online. Littal states that the only way for the Broncos to get rid of Tebow and his wild following is to, "allow him to fall on his sword."
Basically, you would only exacerbate a volatile situation in the offseason if another quarterback is brought in. Before he is dispatched, however, these Broncos fans are good and mad for Tebow, and they would need solid proof that he is not the man for them.
That is an intriguing angle, but I don't buy it. The Broncos front office will be the first to tell you that the postseason doesn't come knocking every year. You need to make the most of it when it presents itself.
Giving Quinn snaps is just a precaution, and a wise one at that. It's time to stop pandering to the masses who love Tebow the person over Tebow the quarterback. If he is struggling in this all-important game, you yank him.
