WNBA Player Rankings 📊
The 6'4" forward is on a path to be the greatest women's basketball player in modern history. A national champion in college at South Carolina, she has earned two WNBA titles, two MVPs, two Defensive Player of the Year nods and six All-Star honors since arriving in the pros. She also won her second Olympic gold medal this summer and was the MVP of the 2024 Summer Games in Paris. And at 28, she's far from done on the court.
The 2024 WNBA campaign is a prime example of how she continues to defy what are sky-high expectations.
Wilson played a such a high level in 2023 that many felt she simply couldn't get any better; even the greats hit a ceiling at some point. Instead, she's averaging more points (27.3), rebounds (11.9) and blocks (2.7) than she did a season ago.
Brady basically described Wilson as one of a kind and that's exactly what she is. Fans should savor what she's doing this year because it could be a long time before another star is hitting this peak.
