AFC Playoff Preview: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Denver Broncos

Tebow MUST snap out of his funk.

The Steelers are going to roll in this one. Not only has Tim Tebow been awful, he has to go up against arguably the top defense in the NFL. Not a recipe for success.

This is a recurring pattern. Tebow is playing a top defense who brought along a good offense, even without Rashard Mendenhall, who tore his ACL last week. Tebow simply can’t keep up with the Steelers. Look back at the game against the Patriots. His defense couldn’t save him then and the Patriots have no defense whatsoever. What is he going to do when he has to score plenty of points against a top defense?

Steelers – 28, Broncos – 10

I honestly don’t think this game is much of a question if Rashard Mendenhall was playing, but he’s not. It also would have been real nice for Pittsburgh to get the bye week so that their QB could get some rest, but they didn’t.  The Steelers will have a very tough time against a Broncos defense that just got Von Miller back.

However, I think that Ben along with running backs Mewelde Moore and  Isaac Redman can give them just enough to squeeze out a victory over the Broncos who will have even more difficulties offensively. This one should be a defensive battle that the Steelers should win.

Tim Tebow was “Tebowing” on top of the world. Then someone wiped the mat from under him. The Broncos have lost three in a row. Tebow hasn’t been Tebow during that stretch. From that I mean, he has been turning the ball over. Very un-Tebowlike, Mr. Tebow.

Anyways, the Broncos defense will have to carry this team to have any sort of shot. They will have their hands full with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Steelers are limping into the playoffs, but they can still get the job done. Even without Rashard Mendenhall, this team will be able to move the ball. As long as Big Ben can stay on the field, I see the Steelers winning this game. Expect a late Tebow run to get everyone pumped up, only to fall short.
