Ex-Iowa star Kate Martin waived by WNBA team
With the record-breaking rookie year she's had, it's no surprise that Clark became not only the fastest player in WNBA history to record 500 points and 200 assists, but the first player to achieve both of those numbers in their rookie season.
Though the Fever couldn't walk away with the win on Saturday, fans still praised Clark for achieving another milestone.
Even with the loss, the Fever have shown outstanding improvement compared to last season. Indiana finished 13-27 a year ago, and it has already matched its win total through 29 games, sitting at 13-16 on the year.
The Fever are also in a good position to reach the playoffs for the first time since 2016 as they are currently in seventh place in the WNBA standings.
Clark has already made history this season and added to it on Saturday. She'll look to continue breaking records this year and hopefully lead her team to a playoff berth.
