NBA 2K25 Player Ratings: Zion, George, Lillard Among Stars Revealed for 21-30 List

Adam WellsAug 22, 2024

The NBA 2K25 rating countdown continued with the players ranked No. 21-30 unveiled on Thursday, highlighted by Zion Williamson, Paul George and Damian Lillard.

All 10 players in the group are within one ratings point of each other at 88 or 89 overall, with Lillard atop the list at No. 21 overall.

Coming off a frustrating first season with the Milwaukee Bucks, Lillard has seen his 2K rating drop five points from where it was at this point last year. He was the 12th-ranked player with a 94 overall rating in NBA 2K24.

Lillard was named an All-Star for the Bucks and averaged 24.3 points per game, but his 42.4 field-goal percentage and 35.4 three-point percentage were his second-lowest success rates in both categories in the past eight seasons.

The five-point ratings drop from last year's game launch wasn't the steepest decline in this group. That distinction belongs to Jimmy Butler, whose 89 overall rating is down six points from 12 months ago.

George is one of two 76ers players in this group, along with Tyrese Maxey. The nine-time All-Star maintained the same rating from last year's game. He joined the Sixers as a free agent this summer with the hope he can help them get back to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since the 2000-01 season.

After being named to his first All-Star team and winning Most Improved Player last season, Maxey got a four-point bump from his initial rating in NBA 2K24.

Williamson has remained steady at 88 overall for the past year. Last season was encouraging because he played a career-high 70 games, but the injury bug got him amid his best game as a pro.

The 2019 No. 1 overall pick scored 40 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in 37 minutes for the New Orleans Pelicans in the play-in tournament game against the Los Angeles Lakers, but he left late in the fourth quarter with a hamstring issue.
