Fantasy Football 2024: Dynasty Rankings, Cheatsheet and League Names
Nothing offers more control of your team—and its fate—in fantasy football more than a dynasty league.
It's as close as most of us will come to actually running an NFL franchise.
Most, if not all, of your roster is retained from one year to the next, meaning your commitment to these players runs far deeper than in a redraft league. There are more courses of action available to you, too, since an all-in championship chase or a top-to-bottom reset can have ramifications for years to come.
It's a blast if you've never tried it, and it's something that can absolutely hook you for life. So, if you're considering joining a dynasty league or are simply looking for pointers for an existing one, you've come to the right place. We're laying out our top-10 dynasty rankings at the marquee positions and spotlighting a few dynasty sleepers before closing with some creative league names to consider.

Dynasty Sleepers

Will Levis, QB, Tennessee Titans
While dynasty drafters might rush toward a rookie signal-caller like Caleb Williams or Jayden Daniels, they shouldn't overlook Tennessee's second-year quarterback.
Save for a four-score debut, there weren't many needle-moving moments for Levis as a rookie. This year could be dramatically different, though. The coaching change from Mike Vrabel to Brian Callahan should spark this passing attack, as should the additions of Calvin Ridley and Tony Pollard. DeAndre Hopkins should be harder to handle now, too, with more playmakers around him.
If that wasn't enough to get excited, there's also a chance Levis adds considerably more value as a rusher. He ran for 742 yards and 17 scores over his four seasons in college, and he could see some goal-line opportunities since Derrick Henry is no longer a part of this backfield.
Chase Brown, RB, Cincinnati Bengals
The lead running back role can be quite valuable in Cincinnati. Just ask former Bengals back Joe Mixon, who was last season's RB6 and ranked as RB3 two seasons prior, per FantasyPros.
Brown, to be clear, doesn't have the lead gig yet. He has, however, handled a number of first-team snaps in training camp, and he doesn't have major obstacles in his path if he can convince Cincinnati he's ready to make an impact. Veteran journeyman Zack Moss is the favorite to land the job early, but his hot-and-cold track record suggests he could lose it at any time.
That makes Brown one of the best fantasy handcuffs on the board. There's a non-zero chance he spends the bulk of this season as the primary running back in a prolific offense.
Ladd McConkey, WR, Los Angeles Chargers
If you're willing to pay a premium for a rookie receiver, there are better investments to make than McConkey. Marvin Harrison Jr. looks like a plug-and-play star, Rome Odunze has already hinted at having a strong connection with top pick Caleb Williams and Malik Nabers stands as the odds-on favorite to lead the New York Giants in targets.
If you're more in the market for a bargain, though, McConkey should be firmly on your radar. The rookie second-rounder could quietly be headed toward a monster debut season.
Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, who's thrown for better than 4,300 yards every time he's been healthy, is searching for playmakers after the offseason subtractions of Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Austin Ekeler and Gerald Everett. McConkey has the athleticism, route-running and reliable hands to emerge as a top target in this attack.
