Jake Paul Challenges Conor McGregor to Fight After UFC Legend's 'Dweeb' Remarks

Jake Paul is ready to fight Conor McGregor.

The boxer challenged the UFC legend to a fight after McGregor called him "a little dweeb of a thing" ahead of his fight with Mike Perry.

"Conor McGregor can say what he wants, but he won't fight me either," Paul said at his press conference on Thursday. "So once I knock out Mike Perry, Conor McGregor, let's run it. But you won't do it because you know what's going to happen, you saw what I did to Nate Diaz, who you want toe-to-toe with."

Paul, the YouTube star-turned-boxer, has had a successful start to his boxing career. He's 9-1 with six knockouts and his only loss came to Tommy Fury in 2023. Most recently, he took down Ryan Bourland in March.

Paul was slated to have one of the biggest fights of his career against Mike Tyson this month, but the legendary boxer was forced to reschedule due to an ulcer. Their fight is now set to take place Nov. 15.

The bout against Tyson being rescheduled led to Paul taking on Perry after he accepted the fight proposal with about a month's notice.

Perry was originally an MMA fighter, but he has recently entered the boxing world with his first professional fight coming in 2022. Since then, he's gotten off to a perfect 5-0 start with three knockouts. In his most recent fight in April, he defeated Thiago Alves via TKO.

Paul will look to get a big win over Perry on Saturday. After that, he could start training for a fight with McGregor.
