MLB Fans React to Viral National Anthem Video Ahead of 2024 Home Run Derby
The National Anthem is a staple of sporting events all across America.
While most National Anthems become an afterthought once the event starts, certain ones become memorable among fans and lead to reactions on social media. The National Anthem performed ahead of the Home Run Derby on Monday was the latter.
Performed by four-time Grammy-nominated country singer Ingrid Andress, Monday's rendition of the National Anthem drew plenty of reactions from the social media world.

In Andress' defense, the venue isn't exactly singer-friendly. The Athletic's Levi Weaver, also an independent singer and songwriter, admits that Globe Life Field doesn't boast the best acoustics.
"I toured for 10 years as a musician, and if you offered me a slot to sing in this place, I would give it a hard pass. HARD pass," Weaver wrote. "It's hard to sound good in here."
But Andress has found plenty of success in her career, so she's likely not too worried about what fans thought of her performance on Monday.
