MLB Celebrity Softball Game 2024: Predictions and Top Stars on Final Rosters
MLB's All-Star festivities offer so much more than the namesake game and the equally as popular Home Run Derby. The action kicks off Saturday with the Futures Game, featuring the top prospects in the sport, and continues later that night with the All-Star Celebrity Softball Game.
A staple of the busy week since 2001, the game has pitted stars from all facets of entertaining against each other in an exhibition softball game.
This year's game emanates from Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas and features two Texas Rangers legends in managerial roles as 2024 Hall of Fame inductee Adrian Beltré and seven-time All-Star Michael Young do battle.

MVP Prediction: Dez Bryant
Athletes tend to do well in these games, as evidenced by former big leaguer Brett Boone and WWE Superstar The Miz's MVP victories in recent years.
Bryant starred in the Dallas area for the Cowboys and during his time with America's Team, tallied 73 touchdowns, the longest being an 85-yarder from Tony Romo in 2012.
It is possible that Deion Sanders, one of the greatest Cowboys of all time, a former Atlanta Brave, New York Yankee, and Cincinnati Red, and fierce competitor could show up and show out, even at 56 years old.
Ditto Terrell Owens, who never met a camera or high-profile opportunity he did not love.
Still, Bryant is younger and at 35, will likely have more opportunities to make plays around the field than his older peers.
Another athlete to keep an eye on? Gipson, who is one of the best and purest hitters in softball history, with 95 home runs and 254 RBI during her collegiate career with the Oklahoma Sooners.
