NFL Draft 2012: Teams That Got Screwed by Matt Barkley and Landry Jones
Quarterback prospects are dropping out of the NFL draft like flies these days.
After top quarterback prospect Matt Barkley of USC decided to stay in school for another year, Landry Jones of Oklahoma announced the same on Thursday.
That leaves two legitimate first-round quarterbacks in Stanford's Andrew Luck and Baylor's Robert Griffin III. Beyond that, you'd have to be reaching even more than the Minnesota Vikings did in the first round of the 2011 NFL draft (sorry, Christian Ponder).

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Here are three teams that Barkley and Jones screwed.
Washington Redskins
If Griffin didn't fall to No. 6 overall in the draft, then the Redskins would have still had a nice consolation prize with Barkley.
Now, if Griffin is taken by the Cleveland Browns to put pressure on starter Colt McCoy, the Redskins will be left with Arizona's Nick Foles. He's not a first-round prospect, let alone the No. 6 overall pick.
I still think the Browns are going to stick with McCoy, but you never know. Griffin has certainly captured the nation's eyes this season.
Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins aren't going to get Griffin at No. 8 overall unless something drastic happens, so, basically, they're already screwed.
They will likely take an offensive tackle or a receiver to give whoever is under center a place to throw the ball.
Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks were supposed to have a shot at Jones near the top 10.
In fact, given their quarterback situation, it seemed almost a done deal...if Jones declared.
Well, he didn't, and now they may have to pull a "Minnesota Vikings" and draft Foles or go a different direction.
My thoughts?
A lot of NFL teams are going to be pursuing Green Bay Packers backup Matt Flynn this offseason when he hits free agency.
