Owens, who earned five All-Pro nominations in 16 NFL seasons, also participated in the MLB's celebrity softball game during the league's Juneteenth celebration at Rickwood Field in Birmingham, Alabama.
The two Hall of Famers aren't the only sports icons to be participating in the event. Philadelphia 76ers All-Star point guard Tyrese Maxey will also be in attendance.
The celebrity game will also feature former softball stars Jennie Finch, Natasha Watley, and Lauren (Chamberlain) Gipson.
Finch and Watley, who won national championships during their college careers for Arizona and UCLA, respectively, went on to lead Team USA to gold at the 2004 Athens Olympics.
Chamberlain set an NCAA record in 2015 by hitting 95 home runs in 220 career games for Oklahoma.
Other notable names on the roster include actress Gina Rodriguez, Marcello Hernández of Saturday Night Live, Matt James of The Bachelor and country music star Kane Brown.
