Young has been linked to the Lakers multiple times, and his future figures to remain an interesting focal point throughout the offseason.
Los Angeles and Atlanta could both use some changes when it comes to roster construction. The latter lost in the play-in tournament this past season after losing in the first round the previous two, while the former lost in the first round this past season.
The Lakers were also in the play-in tournament the last two years.
Adding Young would be a significant change for the Purple and Gold considering he is a ball-dominant playmaker who consistently pulls up from well beyond the arc. LeBron James and Anthony Davis are also players who have plenty of chances with the ball, so there would need to be some type of adjustment.
Figuring out those adjustments would be a challenge for Redick in his first year as head coach, but Young's post seems to suggest it is only a matter of time before the next offseason headline.
