WWE Rumors: Becky Lynch Expected to Sign 'Massive' Contract; Latest on Natalya Talks

Although Becky Lynch's contract with WWE has expired, it is reportedly expected that she will eventually be back with the company on a new deal.

According to PWInsider Elite (h/t Rajah.com's Jeff Whalen), "all expectations" are that Lynch will sign a new contract with WWE that includes a "massive raise."

PWInsider also reported that Natalya's WWE deal is nearing its conclusion, but she and the company are trying to finalize a new contract.

Fightful Select (h/t Sean Rueter of Cageside Seats) reported that Lynch's WWE contract expired on June 1, which was just a few days after her final match with the company.

The Man faced Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Championship at WrestleMania 40 in April, and it was widely expected that she would take time off after the loss, but unexpected circumstances may have changed WWE's plans.

Ripley suffered an injury that forced her to vacate the women's world title, prompting Becky to return to the fold and win the championship in a battle royal on the April 22 episode of Raw.

Lynch dropped the title to Liv Morgan one month later at King and Queen of the Ring, and she lost a rematch against Morgan inside a steel cage on the May 27 edition of Raw.

The 37-year-old Lynch had been under a WWE contract since 2013, and over the course of more than a decade, she became one of the most decorated and successful women's wrestlers in company history.

Becky is a seven-time women's champion on the main roster, a one-time women's tag team champion, a one-time NXT women's champion and a one-time Royal Rumble winner.

The Irish Superstar was also part of the first women's main event in WrestleMania history, beating Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair in a Triple Threat at WrestleMania 35.

While Lynch is technically now a free agent, it would be considered a surprise if she signed elsewhere since she has familial ties to WWE.

Lynch's husband, Seth Rollins, is one of WWE's top stars, and he signed a new "multi-year, big money deal" with WWE in May, per Fightful Select (h/t Liam Crowley of ComicBook.com).

As for Natalya, she is he longest-tenured women's wrestler in WWE, having been with the company since 2007.

The 42-year-old veteran is one of the most respected Superstars on the WWE roster, and she comes from the famous Hart wrestling family as the daughter of Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, niece of Bret and Owen Hart, and granddaughter of Stu Hart.

During her lengthy run in WWE, Nattie has won the SmackDown Women's Championship, Divas Championship and WWE Women's Tag Team Championships one time each.

She has been appearing regularly on both Raw and NXT as of late, and WWE seems to be teasing a potential alliance between her and Sonya Deville, as they have been seen talking backstage.

Natalya's husband, former WWE Superstar Tyson Kidd, is a producer in WWE, and if Nattie signs a new deal with WWE, it would be easy to envision her transitioning into a similar role once her in-ring career is over.
