Although the Chicago Sky narrowly fell to the Washington Mystics on Friday night by the final score of 83-81, Angel Reese wrapped up another impressive game.

While Chicago entered the contest with a losing record, it was still a disappointing defeat at the hands of a Mystics team that only earned one win in their first 13 games of the season.

However, Reese finished with her fifth consecutive double-double by scoring 10 points and pulling down 14 rebounds. Although she struggled a bit from the field by shooting 3-10 overall, she came up with several clutch buckets in the fourth quarter.

This included a layup and a foul that cut Chicago's deficit to a mere two points with just over one minute remaining in the contest.

Fellow Sky rookie Kamilla Cardoso made a positive impact as well, finishing Friday's contest with 12 points on 4-5 shooting.

After scoring a career-high 20 points against the Connecticut Sun on Wednesday, Reese has continued to look more comfortable with each passing game in her brief WNBA career. Fans were pleased with her effort despite the loss:

Reese will attempt to extend her current double-double streak to six straight games during Chicago's next matchup, a clash with the Indiana Fever on Sunday at 12 p.m. ET.
