Yankees' Aaron Judge Wasn't 'Too Happy' With Fans' Juan Soto Chants Before Grisham HR

New York Yankees captain Aaron Judge wasn't "too happy" with fans shouting "We Want Soto" as outfielder Trent Grisham went through his sixth-inning at-bat, which resulted in a three-run homer that helped the Bronx Bombers defeat the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-4 on Sunday.

Yankees superstar outfielder Juan Soto has missed the last three games with left arm inflammation. Grisham, who entered Sunday hitting just .083, has taken his place for the time being.

The Yankees lost 2-1 in 11 innings to the Dodgers on Friday before falling 11-3 to L.A. on Saturday. Grisham had just one single over those two games.

When he strolled up to the plate in the sixth, the Yankees were down 3-2, and fans may have been restless and missing the superstar Soto even more at this point. But Grisham changed the fans' tune quickly with a clutch blast that eventually helped the first-place Yanks move to an American League-best 46-21 record.

Grisham was asked about the "We Want Soto" chants (and the ensuing cheers for his name) afterward.

Judge later tacked on an insurance run via a solo homer.

As for Soto, it's unclear when he'll return, although Yanks manager Aaron Boone told reporters that "the hope" is for a comeback Monday when New York visits the Kansas City Royals.
