Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Mac Jones might think his old teammates on the New England Patriots are telling their friends how they miss him.
The former Patriots signal caller referenced Mike Jones' "Back Then" in a Thursday post debuting his new Jaguars uniform:

Jones was traded to the Jaguars in exchange for a sixth-round pick in March. He is expected to compete to back up Trevor Lawrence in Jacksonville.
C.J. Beathard, who has made 13 appearances as backup for the Jaguars over three seasons, will be competing with Jones for the spot.
This isn't the first time Jones has shown an interest in rap. He said in April in an introduction video posted to the Jaguars' TikTok that one of his hobbies is rapping.
"I like to do a little bit of rapping," Jones said in the April video. "I do though, I do. I've got a couple of songs. Nobody knows about it. So I'm letting the world know now I'm not in New England."
The Patriots originally selected Jones in the first round of the 2021 draft as a potential successor to Tom Brady.
The former Alabama standout subsequently struggled through three up-and-down seasons with the Patriots. He was benched four times during the 2023 campaign, during which he earned a 2-9 record, prior to the trade that sent him to Jacksonville.
After throwing 24 touchdowns to 23 interceptions over his last two seasons, Jones is now looking for a fresh start with the Jaguars, beginning with this week's organized team activities:
The presence of Beathard, a six-season veteran backup, means that Jones is not guaranteed the QB2 spot behind Lawrence.
If his social media presence is any indication, however, Jones might already feeling more comfortable with his new team despite his uncertain roster status in Jacksonville.
